The shoe rack
We bought a house, and despite the space we were gaining, the entrance hall was still filled with shoes. Jogging shoes, walking shoes, work shoes... all of them were cluttering up the doorway and piling up really quickly.
Whether it was in our friends' condos or in our house, we all had the same problem: the plastic shoe racks didn't fit our home and didn't have the quality we were looking for.
Clear entrance
We want a clear entrance for a calming return from work. We want to feel good when we come back from a family walk or when we arrive with our grocery bags. We therefore need a well-crafted, cleanly designed rack that enhances the space.
We like great quality, we love nice designs, and functionality is a plus.
Design
We like to organize things in the opposite direction to what we are used to. Every curve is carefully designed, and the proportions are calculated so that our shoes stand upright. We don't want melamine or plastic: we prefer the durability of bent metal, and the elegance of an exotic finish.
Our racks have the same width as a standard door, so they can be used in the narrowest entrances. They are made of sturdy steel, with a baked-on powder coat finish.
The shoe rack Avril is easy to wash, to hang on the wall and to unhook. Installation is as simple as maintenance.
